My son's absolute favorite books is Machines at Work by Byron Barton. He reads the book nearly everyday with my husband and now can read the book on his own making the right machine noises along the way. He even requests the books by shouting "cheens."Tonight out of no where he picked up a book we read less often and read the entire book to himself including all of the words and facial expressions on each page. The book was Baby Faces by Margaret Miller, and the moment was priceless.
At nearly 14 months, he is already reading books all on his own... ah proud mama librarian!
