Finally...

... an industry conference with a focus on kids and technology. The Parents' Choice Foundation has paired with the Consumer's Electronic Association (CEA) to put together the Sandbox Summit. The conference will be part of the International Consumer Electronic Show in Las Vegas, January 7-10. The conference sets out "to examine the ways kids play in today's digital world..."

Wish I could be there, I'm hoping that the library community will be represented at the conference.

Yo! This sends shivers up my spine! Thanks for sharing about the Sandbox Summit. I feel like I should have known about this conference, but didn't until I ready your post the other day! How did that happen? The conference is happening so soon (and right after the holidays!)...I want to go...does Santa bring conference registrations down the chimney?
Thanks for sharing this...I've been looking for stronger connections for children's services and technology.

Yeah, I found it on a total whim. It was mentioned in last weekend USA Today insert that comes in the local paper. There was an article about kids and technology. I totally wish I would have known about it earlier, too... might have been able to get it on my Santa list in time. ;-(

If you find a way to go, you'll have to report out on it.
