Did We Create a Monster?

Sometimes, my son can be so persistent when it comes to books that I wonder if we created a monster. We read a book, and then he insists we read it to him again and again and again... throwing the book at us. He has done this since he was about 7 months old.

How did we create the monster? Simple, we surrounded him with books from a very young age, and read to him daily (yes, we missed some of those hectic newborn days) from the time that I found out I was pregnant. We have nearly 200 books in his little library (see our LibraryThing for all of our titles). Before we knew it, he was bringing the books to us.
